WOW, is all I can say after reading this book. I have waited what feels like forever for a happy ending for my favorite Ferro. There is so much emotion in this book and it's so powerful. From the beginning, you can see that both Jon and Cassie are so broken, yet they love each other even with so much time having passed. Jon's devotion and love for Cassie never wavers and he becomes the man I knew he was as he helps Cassie through a painful time in her life. You see so many sides of Jon in this book and each one makes me love him more. Cassie is a strong heroine, too. She has suffered a traumatic past and finds the strength to move past it so that she can have a life with Jon. I read this book in one day. It was very moving and well worth the wait to have Jon and Cassie's chapter closed.

I absolutely love the youngest 'Ferro boys,' Jon! They all thought he was the screw up and always getting into trouble, yet there is so much more to him... Cassie was the love of his life, but he thought she deceived him several years ago by going to the paparazzi about him and his fAmily. This was not true and he never gave her a Chance to explain, so she left and years later they meet up at a place he would least expect to see her.... strip club! Cassie is hiding from her abusive husband and this is a perfect place... Jon and Cassie finally talk about what happened all those years ago, and found out, they were used and by the FERRO family! This book has a lot of sadness that these two went thru between the years, and then once they begin to open up - they begin to heal and feel again!! LOVED this b'day
I wanted to love STRIPPED 2 especially since I really enjoyed STRIPPED but for me, STRIPPED 2 fell a bit short for me. I felt it was anticlimactic for the most part. There was this big reveal and build up after the end of STRIPPED and then kind of went flat when we got into STRIPPED 2. I would recommend readers reading STRIPPED first before heading into the second book. There were some memorable moments where you wanted to root for Jon and Cassie, but it really felt like something was missing. Certain parts of the story seemed to be rushed and the book tension you usually find in an HM Ward book just wasn’t there. I just couldn’t grasp on or relate to the story or the characters themselves.
I think this book was well worth the wait. Jon is trying really hard to be Cassie's friend when really he wants more. Jon realizes that he actually loves Cassie but he knows that she's
not ready. Cassie has been through a lot since the last time she seen Jon, but she's trying to put her past behind her. Cassie is trying to talk Jon into giving the club over to Sean, so that his mother will not kick him out of the family, but he doesn't want to. This book not only tells Jon and Cassie's story but it touches on a serious issue that most people don't want to talk about, it could be helpful to a lot of people. H.M., you never disappoint, you always put your whole heart in these books that are truly amazing, I know I say about all of her books but it is truth. If you are reading this then you need to purchase this book and discover an awesome author, if you are new to her. I also received an ARC for my honest review, I also purchased this book.
Stripped 2 is the sequel to Stripped and the conclusion to the Stripped series. In a sense, Stripped 2 is a second chance romance, but don't think for a minute that you know what will happen because it's not a typical second chance romance! From the first chapter, I was spellbound, and I just could not put it down!

The characters were complex, well developed, and likable. Jonathan Ferro appears at first glance to be a stereotypical rich playboy, but it turns out he is a savvy businessman. Who knew?!? Cassie is is his first love, now a stripper. It's clear that they are still very much in love with each other, despite their past history. Unfortunately, Cassie is married to an abusive man whose sadism shocked me beyond words, and Jonathan will most likely be disowned for buying the strip club where Cassie works. All of their coworkers, friends, and family seem to be against them. Is their love enough?

I loved, loved, loved the cameos by other favorite HM Ward characters and the way it intersects with other series by the author. It is a MUST READ. I highly recommend this book and series!

In Stripped, we were left with Sean and Peter trying to convince Jon to sell Club Ferro to Sean so that he could keep being the heir of the Ferro fortune, as well as Sidney and Avery dancing on stage by the stripper poles and Mel on Trystan's lap as Bryan looked on to the scene in front of him. I was ecstatic that this book started where the first left off. I've been missing Bryan a lot and to have him there for a glimpse, it was definitely a treat.

In this book, we get to learn the answers to the questions that were left from the first book Who spoke to the reporter about Jon, which caused him to leave and not get in touch with Cassie again? What were the real reasons why Cassie decided to become a stripper? What was it about Jon's past that made him the way he is and be the detached, misunderstood man that he is?

To me, what made this book so poignant was the subject of abuse and how physical, sexual and emotional abuse had shaped Jon's and Cassie's lives. It was interesting to see that their lives, although different, had many similarities and their darkness brought them together in some way. Writing about any type abuse and describe how the characters live and deal thru it, and heal from it, is extremely difficult. H.M. Ward has done an amazing job in depicting the abuse that both Jon and Cassie lived thru and to see how they overcome it together, it is the most important aspect of the entire story.

The physical, mental and emotional scars would always still be there for both of them but in the end, it's their love for each other that will guide them to their happily ever after.
